The 7th - 13th September is national transplant week. If you haven't registered please do. It saved my life.
The NHS Organ Donor Register is a confidential list of people who want to donate their organs and/or tissue.
You can see who has registered to be a donor. When you die, your organs could help someone else to live.
Why join the register
Joining the register makes it easier for everyone to know your wishes and follow them.
Family and friends
When you register, tell your family and friends about your decision.
Even if your name is on the register, when you die, we will ask your family or friends to confirm that you had not changed your mind.
When you register
We will send you a donor card.
If you have registered but don’t have a card, ring us on 0300 123 23 23.
We are open 24 hours seven days a week.
